A crew of astronauts on their way home to Earth discuss their discovery of Alpha Centauri. A technologically advanced civilization with huge, shiny buildings, however, its people were extinct. The astronauts discuss how everything on the planet was covered in a red dust and speculate that the dust must be the reason that the planet is no longer inhabited. The astronauts express regret that they lost two of their crew on the planet. They also realize that some of that red dust has made it on to their ship...and seems to be spreading.
