Silent Night, Bloody Night (1972)

An old New England mansion with a sordid past is going on the market after being vacant for 20 years. On Christmas Eve, 1950, the original owner, Wilfred Butler, burned alive. The house was left to his grandson Jeffrey Butler. Jeffrey is selling the house to the town for fifty thousand dollars in cash. His lawyer, Mr Carter, speculates that Jeffrey could get much more money for the house but Jeffrey wants a quick sell. While the mayor goes to the bank to get the cash, Jeffrey Butler has arrived in town and a mysterious caller had begun taunting the town's leading citizens...Did I mention an escaped mental patient from the state hospital for the criminally insane???

This film features David Carradine as one of the town's leading citizens.
