Boris Karloff plays Phillip Knight, an acclaimed hoax buster hired by a wealthy developer to debunk the rumors of a voodoo curse on a proposed resort island. When the sole survivor, Mitchell, from the first island expedition is found - on a nearby island in a boat 50 miles from the island in a trance like state with no physical abnormalities - Karloff's character, Knight, is hired to quell the rumors that the island is cursed. Knight and company travel to the island intent to prove that Mitchell's state is only one part of a grandiose publicity stunt to lure tourists to the proposed resort. Is there really a curse? Is the island under a voodoo spell? And what about those pesky killer plants??? There is also a notable uncredited cameo in this file! Enjoy!
