A young family move into a Pennsylvania Farmhouse with a questionable past. The mother finds herself drawn to the pentagram painted on the side of the barn and learns of its use to ward off evil spirts. She scoffs at the notion, but later realizes that strange events seem related to the barn. She begins questioning her own sanity when something seems to be terrorizing her family and friends. This film was directed by Stephen Spielberg following his tv movie Duel (1971). The movie features Darren McGavin and Johnny Whitaker.
