Asylum (1972)

A young psychiatrist, Dr. Martin, goes for a job interview at a secluded mental institution in the country. He is greeted by Dr. Rutherford who informs him that part of the interview is to work with four patients and to determine which of the patients is Dr. B. Star. Dr. Star is the former head of the institution who endured a mental breakdown. If Dr. Martin can ascertain which patient is Dr. Star, he will be considered for the position.

Asylum is composed of four short stories by Robert Bloch. Bloch wrote the novel Psycho, which Alfred Hitchock later directed as a film. It's one of many anthology films that were produced by Amicus during the 60's and 70's.

This film features Peter Cushing and Britt Ekland.
